Keren nih movie, sebenarnya nih movie diangkat dari komik karangan Harold Sakuishi. Bagi yang pernah baca manga ataupun nonton animenya, tentunya sudah mengetahui kalau BECK bercerita tentang kisah 5 pemuda yang berjuang dari bawah untuk menggapai mimpi mereka membentuk band terhebat dan diakui penggemar musik Rock seluruh dunia. Fokus film lebih mengarah ke sosok Koyuki sang gitaris pemula dan Ryusuke aka Ray sang gitaris berbakat yang menjadi leader BECK, dengan karakter lainnya sebagai pendukung. Film live action ini mengambil story-arc manga dari awal pertemuan Koyuki dan Ray hingga puncaknya berakhir di konser besar-besaran Greatful Sound. Synopsis:
A live-action adaptation of Harold Sakuishi’s long-running band manga, the film stars Takeru Sato as Koyuki, an ordinary high school student who’s encouraged to pick up guitar after a chance encounter with a talented guitarist named Ryusuke Minami (Hiro Mizushima). The two eventually form a band with bassist Taira (Osamu Mukai), lead vocalist Chiba (Kenta Kiritani), and drummer Saku (Aoi Nakamura). They name the band Beck after Minami’s dog and Koyuki discovers he has a natural gift for playing guitar. As his talent blooms, the band experiences more and more success, eventually getting invited to play at a rock festival.
